Luxire's prices are significantly higher
Evidently you haven't visited their site. Their most expensive denim 5-pockets are $179 and they go down from there. Take a look below.

Sourcing the Candiani fabric may or may not cost more.

Personally, I have a pair of Charles jeans coming in the mail today to check out, but I am very happy with the $99 dark indigo from Luxire. It will be interesting to see how they compare.

If you enjoy the Milano pants, you will definitely like the cut of Charles jeans. I'm also interested on how they compare to Luxire, let us know.

Will do.

Yes, I can speak only for US pricing......luxire is cheaper than ss for good denim where I live.

And I apologize for not considering that other forum members are outside the US and may have different pricing than we do here.

i got the Charles jeans in today. It's true they are pretty much just denim Milano pants. The fabric seems great, but others on the forum have noted the propensity for shrinkage.

I'm sending them back, however, because I don't wear denim the same way I wear dress pants. There's just not room in my wardrobe for 'elegant' jeans. they just look too baggy to me.

I'll stick with a combination of Luxire and Fidelity for my denim. The flannel shirt and cashmere crew neck, however, are keepers. The new Tailored fit is a little better for me than their old slim fit.

Valid points, they are a bit larger, but for me this is good because I can get them in my true waist size

Anyone here own any SS long sleeve wool polos?

Are they itchy? Wool can itch me, but depends on the wool

Do they fit like their half zips? Tried on a cashmere silk and wool one and it fit me well

I'd throw in a recommendation for the new "milano" pants (or the 'straight leg' by their new nomenclature). They're very comfortable for me (slightly larger thighs and calves, but not huge). They're slim enough in the leg that they don't look overly trendy or dated, just a nice middle ground and I'd say a classic look, or thereabouts. They're also available in various types of wool, cotton, and flannels.
I ordered their "Milano" pants in corduroy, and the cut was too tight for me. The front and the back rise are also much too short.

I hope they will bring in new models of the "Firenze" cut for fall/winter. They are really great.
They're taking a while to release their new collection...

I'm under impression that FW collection is out and there will be no new releases.

The real shame with the ever shrinking value for money is the loss of horse hair in the canvassing of custom made. Should have pulled the trigger earlier on some ideas a while back…

That being said, if anyone knows a good spot to get 6x1 double breasted suits, lmk!

Cross-posting from "The Tailors' Thread". I received this MTM sportcoat and I'm hoping for some additional feedback on how can this be improved, given their MTM program options. I'm mostly concerned with upper/middle back and shoulder slope. Thanks!

great result! i think you could do with a slightly lower buttoning point (0.5cm would suffice, but that overall is very subjective) and about as much extra room in the waist (not the hips necessarily), as the jacket does appear just a tad too narrow in the back. there should be enough seam allowance in the jacket to have that fixed. as for the slight collar roll - check dm!
