Thanks for the feedback guys, I went with the pants of the 1st one, may also buy the blazer soon/eventually

I dont know how I felt about a DB suit in the summer

Also looked at this DB suit I believe in store. Its a wool, silk, linen blend. I am usually a 38s, but the 38s is too long. The 36s fit better, but too snug. Can these be made shorter at all or a bad idea?

I remember seeing this one in stores and thought it was beautiful. Unfortunately I have 3 DB in my collection already so I held off.

I cannot see any reason why brand new/unworn garments needs to be cleaned prior to alteration.

When it comes to pre-worn garments, our tailors are not permitted to work on pre-worn garments unless they have been recently cleaned -- either by us or elsewhere. It's simply a matter of respect for the tailors. No tailor wants or should be mandated to work on a soiled, smelly garment.

Here's the rub:

1. If they have not been recently cleaned and we are entrusted with the cleaning, we have no problem.

2. If they have been "cleaned" elsewhere, we will thoroughly inspect the garment for staining of all types. If we see anything associated with biohazards such as urine or feces or with perspiration, we will insist on cleaning those garments before we would accept them for repair and/or alteration. No cleaning, no service.

The problem is that many garments that come in for alteration with the comment that "I just picked these up from the cleaners" are, in fact, still soiled. Most cleaners merely toss their "dry clean only" garments into a dry cleaning machine and hope for the best. While dry cleaning can do a reasonably good job on oil-based stains such as salad dressing, steak sauce, etc., dry cleaning cannot remove blood, urine, feces and any type of water-based stains such as perspiration, coffee, beer, wine, juice, etc. All those stains require removal by a technically skilled stain removal specialist prior to dry cleaning. Or they'll still be in the garment after "dry cleaning".

This is especially the case involving trousers (primarily urine and feces) and suit jackets and sports coats (primarily underarm perspiration).

Does anyone know if the pure cotton fabrics on the custom made programme are machine washable? And even if they're technically not according to the label, could I get away with washing a pair of trousers without too much shrinkage?

I had some stains on my e.thomas cotton trousers. My laundry dude told me nah it doesn't work with waterless treatment, he recommends using a light wash. I did. The stains went away, and the trousers i THINK got a light shrink, but not so much. So yeah, I would be careful. If they are a tad too big maybe go for it if its really dirty. Mine was, so the alternative was not using it anymore.

Does SuSu have any look book for the upcoming season FW season in what they will be releasing? I could have sworn I've seen a brown two-way zip knit, but that was on a Instagram reel from some kind of event held by SuSu staff.

I have never seen a look book shared publicly, but the person I work with regularly showed me images from their first FW drop. An employee of one of their NYC stores also streamed the items on Instagram when they did their training.
