Imho the Copenhagen-cut is shitty anyway. Way to short, slim and wimpy-tiny-slim lapels.

I'm curious about the Copenhagen too. Been wanting a linen jacket and that one could work.

I just went for it too, at that price I could always sell it if it doesn't fit. I've previously gone with the 46 Napoli, and that was a pretty decent fit, though I had to have the arms lengthened and a few alterations around the back made. This time I actually went for the 94, since I intend to keep up the workouts over the winter. Might I ask your basic measurements Timo? I know I've seen them somewhere around here before, but I can't seem to find them.

I just noticed the length from the measurements. I could put up with the slim lapels on an odd jacket or two, but you are right that these seem to run really short. The sleeve length on the jacket is a good 1.3 inches shorter than the Havana which fit me perfectly. I'm assuming these come with finished cuffs too, so it's not really something that could be fixed. Body also looks short.

Ugh, why can't they reduce one of the jackets that will fit me? :plain:

    I am 183cm with around 77kgs (DYEL?) and wear a 48 in Lazio & Sienna and a 98 in SOHO & Havana.

This is me wearing the blue SOHO in size 98, fits pretty good imho.

It's free returns also, is it not? I figure it can't be much of a risk if that's the case.

Why not get the blue Soho? It's a navy linen/cotton mix, isn't too short, and doesn't have wimpy lapels.

Thanks Timo, I'd venture I made the right choice considering that yes, it does fit you nicely!

    And of course, free returns!

SS n00b question: I'm looking for a (relatively) conservative, versatile staple suit. Which styles should I consider?

The sienna is worth the extra money though. But yes, if you're looking to save some money the Napoli would be the next best thing.

Is there any difference in construction between the Sienna and Napoli (etc.) or is it just fabric quality?

True - haven't warmed up all the way to double breasted odd jackets yet ...

Good price, though! Maybe I'll go for it and return it if I don't like how it looks on me

I think that the ticket pocket on the Sienna prevents it from being a truly conservative suit, unfortunately. I bought one of those but sent it back for the London because I think it is a more conservative style and fit

I still don't understand why the don't get us more options in the London here in the states. I love that cut.

I tried the London on and really liked it. The high buttoning point on most other models did not seem flattering on me. I don't remember trying a Sienna, but then again I just walked into SS to kill time. I'm not really worried about CBD conservative, I just need something solid & dark that won't look out-of-style when the "slim fit" fad runs its course.

Does the Sienna have an open lapel buttonhole?
