lots of new stuff today & a new model:
I picked up a suit from this firm in their outlet store in Holland - Roermond last month.
Picked up a checked olive jacket from last season summer collection.
I couldn't resist the tempting offer of €29 for the jacket.
The finishing superb and had 4 working buttons on each sleeve.
Roermond really is paradise.
I really dislike not living close anymore...
"Roermond really is paradise"
If you're referring to some of the other places to visit in & around Roermond, I totally agree
I am lucky when I have client meetings in Eindhoven and Dusseldorf...
A shame Roermond is placed where it is. Not really near anywhere I could convince the wife of visiting for a weekend break and 600 km from the place in Germany that I regularly visit on business. I would make the trip though if I was sure I could pick up a light grey Lazio flannel in EU46

Let me guess where in Germany you live, Frankfurt or Berlin?
I wouldn't mind trading places with you....there more interesting places where you are.
^ I actually live in Copenhagen, but I am quite often in Germany on business
You guys know what we need? An entrepreneurial SF'er who lives locally to the outlet to go in, buy up their stock, and then sell it to us at cost + x% to cover their troubles.
I mean shit, I'd be down for most suits and sports coat in a 24 or 48.
At the moment the outlet store has suit from €99 to €299....most are price €149.
Buy 2 suits for €249 - any alteration is done on site from only €8.50c for length & waist.
I pciked up 3/4 suits before Xmas - the ones using good quality Vitale Barberis Canonico’s cloth.
Paparubbery´s suggestion is the best idea I've read on here in ages. At 150 I'll take almost anything in 46EU.... A wonder noone is doing this on the bay...
Wish I had a car (and could drive) to get out there
Shit that's cheaper than I thought!
Dibs all 24's!
How difficult is the outlet to get to, if one was flying in? Would it be better to fly to Brussels and take the Train, or is Amsterdam a better bet?
Actually I've found this link - http://www.mcarthurglen.com/nl/designer-outlet-roermond/en/plan-your-visit/getting-here/
Very interesting. A suit supply overseas shopping trip might be in order.
i'd be down for that.
Amsterdam would be easier. From Brussels by train you'd have to go Brussels -> Liege -> Maastricht -> Roermond
