I need advice.

In flagrant disregard of #menswear groupthink I want a black suit for funerals (and the occasional music gig or Reservoir Dogs moment). SuSu doesn't have any black suits in their current collections, but they can do custom made with a black Vitale Barberis Canonico.

Here's the question: Should this suit be a Havana, Napoli, or Lazio?

I have suits in all 3 of those fits and my favourite is likely Havana, but I wonder if the patch pockets make it too casual for a funeral. Thoughts?

They used to have a few black suit there. You probably should contact their CS to see whether they still have some in the warehouse. In addition, if you are not in a hurry, they probably will have a bi-annual sale around July. They did have a Canadian sale too in Jan.

Do their sales also apply to custom made or MTM?

That's a great idea: they once found me a discontinued flannel windowpane suit I wanted. I'll bet they have some black suits in a warehouse in Europe somewhere. Or, yes, I could wait for their next Canadian outlet sale.

any folks here can tell or explain the difference between the JORT series of shirts vs the normal ones? the prices of Jort shirts are quite high and I wonder if I'm better served picking up the italian brands instead. I have heard the Traveller range isn't too great.

I have ordered my first Suitsupply suit. It’s a navy NapolI. The sleeves are almost a couple inches too long. My local tailor says taking the sleeves up from the shoulder “never” goes well and refuse to attempt it.

I have a Suitsupply store 3.5 hours away. I’m thinking of making a road trip. Can I expect with confidence that the in-store Suitsupply tailor can do a truly first rate job?

A couple inches too long? That sounds like a lot. Why did you not order the "short" size?

Because I am 6’3” tall with relatively short arms.

Or, are you saying they make a 48L with shorter arms? That would be great!
