Forgive the jeans. Took an inch out of the body. Nice jacket. Strongly masculine without the showiness of the current Washington details. Right up my alley, style-wise. They should make more of these. I'd love a half-lined suit in this cut.

I have it too. It's my favourite winter jacket. Gets a lot of wear. Pity they discontinued it.

I have a Washington-half in wool/silk/linen made circa 2012-13. Really like the design. Interestimgly, it is a size smaller than what I wear, but I think it was an outlier and it looks my size, although I am thinking of having the sides taken out like a 1/3 of an inch just because I am picky

So, I was thinking about blends — can you post your favorite or curious Suitsupply blends?

As I noted I do like 100% for everything winter, but 2 of my winter coats have like 5 ingredients in them — something like wool/alpaca/silk/mohair/poly, with poly being only 5% — I think it adds extra strength to the fabric without compromising breathability much. I generally shun poly over 10% in anything, but my other exception is the raincoat which is 80% wool/20% poly, although the current gray winter version of it on the website is 90% wool

OK, more on the red jacket — it looks like a blend and definitely can pass for a fall jacket as well — a buy in my eyes. Hopefully, it’s US$399 rather than 499, bit likely 499 since it looks like it has wool and/or silk in it...

My current reddish suit (which I only wear as separates — it was a 2015 Resort colllection) vs. this one:
