Pretty basic made to measure. Cannot be bespoke at that price and it really does not suggest a personal pattern which is essential. No fittings is pure RTW.

Probably a misleading trade description under English law even with the recent High Court ruling.

I can't see where they even claim to do a bespoke service - they just call it Personal Tailoring on the web site

Just came across this thread via a comment in WAYWRN. Like MoK, I can't see anywhere that Suitsupply claim to provide a bespoke service. What they do provide is a pretty flexible MTM programme - meaning, among other things, that the high button stance of their house cut can be altered if you wish.

For what it's worth, I am a satisfied customer of their MTM programme for both suits and shirts and plan on going back there for my next suit.

SuitSupply is cheap and it looks the part. I'd rather spend a bit more and get a nice suit.

I bought a simple navy 2 button in Rotterdam for a short notice / last minute event. They had it altered and ready in a few hours for a couple hundred Euros.

It's not the best suit I own, but it is half canvassed, decent fabric, nice fit. It still comes out of the closet on rainy / snowy days and I am surprised by how good it looks for the retail price.

I wanted to buy one of their sportcoats, unfortunately they didn't have it in my size. They seemed like the best options out their given that price point. I have one of their shirts which is from a very nice fabric.

I am permanently perplexed how even with all the forums, media and shops we visit, so many men do not understand the difference between MTM and Bespoke.....and cannot buy a suit without their girlfriend, wife or mother. Why do men think that women understand more than trained and experienced tailor?

My MTM Suit Supply suits are stunning. My requirements for a refined and high quality suit, with attention to detail are second to none. My employers implore me to seek out a company that can provide me with suits like these. Until Suit Supply arrived there was nobody. Forget Roderick Charles, Aquascutum,Gieves, Mark Marengo etc.

What do you expect from £400? We are not in Hong Kong or Thailand. So many Savile Row stores offer the same MTM (not bespoke) cloth at 30% higher in price, and you don't even get a full canvas construction.

Don't let the others rip you off. Don't be sucked in by labels, and marketing.

Be strong..make you're own decision and always better to let your experienced tailor guide you. You wouldn't let your girlfriend/wife/mother make your decisions at work would you?

If the answer to this question is yes, then Reiss, Ted Baker and Massimo Dutti are not far away. You can let her choose your satuday night outfit, and your Monday-Friday outfit. I am sure she wouldn't object to you helping out with her wedding dress.

    Personal Tailoring is not Bespoke.
Made to Measure is not Bespoke.

That is why they offer Personal Tailoring!

Go and see..they will explain to the uninitiated. I was not sure myself, but when they pointed out that many Savile Row stores offer MTM and Bespoke, it clicked.

Very impressed with the price for quality. About time too.

GF don't try and sell you suits to make a sale. They know they'll have to see the thing after it leaves the shop. They know they'll get the blame if it's not good.

I find the sizing at Suitsupply very strange. The arms are always way to short when the rest of the jacket fits nice. That's why their sales personel always looks goofy, lol. Pretty happy with the suits I have though, nice to get started for a reasonable price.
