I found the pilot to be quite enjoyable. I'll certainly keep watching. Just remember folks, it's entertainment, not reality. If it were a real show about lawyers, I'm sure we'd all be bored out of our socks.
I don't mind lawyer shows. It just bugs me when: -some senior partner is astonished to discover some new legal procedure -they don't follow the rules of evidence. Hearsay left and right. Character testimony. The latter gives me grief whenever I face a pro se client in court.

Not an instant classic, but it was entertaining. The main character ("pretend lawyer") is kind of a tool, though.

In the last episode, the new senior partner was asked to put up $500k in equity for the firm and balked. What kind of small-timer NYC partner can't afford 500k?

Guy didn't balk. He went along with the joke in the board room, but once he got out he was talking to his superior (don't know her title) and handed her a cashier's check for the amount.

Oh, my bad. What kind of a small-time firm only requires 500k? [IMG]

I watched this on accident the other day..... and by that I mean that I was high and too lazy to find the remote to change the channel. I found it pretty interesting and DVR'd the rest of the season. It's entertaining, but I have no notion that it is anything like reality.

Rachel is so fine, but somewhat bitchy.

Harvey is a try-hard George Clooney.

Whenever I hear these two names on the show all I can think of is Dark Knight.

i'm fully aware that shows like that aren't based on reality... but the thing with boston legal and etc. is that they end up doing the same thing over and over again...

however, i catch the pilot... it's pretty good actually.

i love this show. Reminds me of Mad Men. Is it an accurate reflection of law firms? No, but it is incredibly entertaining and has inspired me to be more assertive in my every day interactions with coworkers. Looking forward to the next season

Caught the first couple of episodes on demand tonight. Looked kind of lame from the commercials but it's actually pretty decent...
