I'll be going to Hong Kong and was planning to pay Peter Lee/Lee Baron a visit. From previous threads, it seems that his fabric selection isn't the greatest but he'll do CMT. What would be a good place to look for nice material in HK?? I'm thinking H&S Crispaire or Fresco or Mohair....

If you really wanna do CMT buy before you arrive. Apart from in the decent tailoring shops I can't think of anywhere else in HK you can buy HS/Lesser etc. etc.

No, you can buy some H&S/Lesser, However, you can't find all of them, I don't think any of them stock Crispaire or Fresco.
So, yes, better buy before you arrive.

You may want to consider to have a chat with the tailor first and decide which one you are more comfortable to work with depending on the style and finishing that you are looking for. Another tailor, Gordon Yao, is worth to consider as his CMT price point is also a good value.

For fabrics I believe William Yu stocks Lesser & Sons fabrics (according to L&S website he is the agent for them in Greater China region).

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
