Hello all.

I've been meaning to pick up a Benjamin suit from ehaberdasher for some time.

This suit http://www.ehaberdasher.com/servlet/the-4934/Benjamin-Sartorial-Suit-cln--44R/Detail is on sale. I can't see anything else touching the quality of this suit for the price.

My only concern is that I think this may be too loud for someone at the stage of my career. I will be articling this summer at a law firm on Bay St. in Toronto. This is essentially a paid internship required in order to become a lawyer in Ontario.

Thus far I've avoided pinstripes. I stick to solid navy and solid charcoal gray. I've recently added black and white micro-houndstooth (which from far away looks like grey pindot).

The senior people I work for wear pinstripes, french cuffs, peak lapels, etc. Then again, they have 35 years of experience and charge $1000+ per hour.

So, SF, what are your thoughts? Yea or Nea?

Too loud. Solid charcoal or navy. Maybe a subtle pinstripe, but that's neither subtle nor a pinstripe.

Thanks for the feedback.

I thought it might be too much, but I was kinda talking myself into it for the price.

I like it given the right context.

Sure, it's not too bad. But an intern at a law firm is not what I would consider the right context

Ahhhhh....yeah. True. It's really something for someone more established, yeah? Probably should have read the OP instead of just clicking on the link.
