Hi guys seen some awesome tips and advice on this forum and was hoping for some too.

Recently picked up an off the shelf suit, wondering is it possible to salvage the jacket or should I go about returning it? Would it be easily to alter the jacket, or does it look completely off?

even though the button placement is quite high, do not button the lower button.
second, take it back try the next size smaller.
    shoulders are too wide
look at the gap around your neck.

not sure what you paid, but alterations to make the jacket fit, could be expensive.

thanks, will take it back. They didn't have any 46L in stock so went for 48L, will check again next week to see if they have 46L.

Paid ~ $90 for the jacket and trousers.

This also looks a tad short in some of the pictures. You must be very tall.
