I've done an extensive search for a basic blue or grey otr suit. The best and most flattering fit my body type is an Ermenegildo Zegna @ $1995 and a Hugo Boss Passolini. Its obvious to me that the Zegna is a superior garment in terms of construction and fabric. Can anyone familiar with these suits describe the differences in the cut and style of each of these ? They seem similar to me. The Zegna feels better on my body but the Boss fits a little better - neither is perfect. I'm hoping to describe to a tailor what works best for me but, as a first time bespoke customer, I don't have the vocabulary to communicate what I want. I'm between a size 46 and 48 jacket , with a barrel chest, rounded back, 39" waist and have trim hips and legs.
