Hi, I was in the market for buying a suit. Visited Saks, Nordstrom, Macy's etc. and then happend to come across a store which I never heard of: Sarar.

I was impressed with the selection of 36S they had. So I bought a Sarar suit that is 70% wool - 30% Poly retail $700 - got it 50% ($350). I am having second thoughts about the wool-poly blend and hoping to get it exchanged for a 100% wool one that I also liked which was basically $100 more.

Has anyone bought a Sarar suit and/or can anybody provide me with any feedbacks about this brand/company? And also any feedback on Wool-poly blend suits vs. all-wool suits? I have always worn 100% wool suits so I am a little concerned with the blended.

Thanks in advance.

Polyester blend cloth should be confined to the back of the fire. Cheap and very nasty.

As to "Sarar", I have never heard of them nor can I recall mention on this Board. Have you troubled to use the search function here or even Google to learn more?

Sarar is a Turkish company who used to make clothes for Hugo Boss (black label), among others. I have a few of their slacks and have been quite satisfied.

If the suit fits......go for it!!

I recently bought a Sarar suit at the Woodbury Commons outlets. It was marked down alot (as is to be expected at an outlet), but, as mentioned before, I was able to talk them down even more. Ended up paying a little over $500 for it.

The fabric is Ermenegildo Zegna and it's just great. The tailoring quality seems to be nice as well. However I don't believe its fully canvassed. For the price, it seems to work very well. The cut is modern as well, which works for me. I say go for it if it fits you well.
