Suit pants puckering

I have a semi-bespoke suit that is puckering after I made the mistake of putting it into a steam shower. My mistake aside, can this be fixed at all? I'm looking for recommendations.

There is puckering on the inner and outer seams. It seems more heavily pronounced (or photogenic) on the outer seams, but is clearly more problematic on the inner seams when worn.

The best way to correct this is to send the pants on a dinner cruise.

How foolish, that will undo the tailors work; have you tried the simple expedient of pressing with a heavy iron?

my pants do that all the time, i just iron usuall works out fine. but i don't own bespoke anything so im not usually worried about pressing my cheap express "producer" wool pants

+1. Ideally he would take them back to his tailor to be pressed, but he may be able to press out the ease himself. He should make sure to press the puckered part of the seam without pressing too far onto the top-side or under-side, and will probably want to use a press-cloth to prevent shining the fabric.

Thank you for posting a picture of this. Many posts, mainly form tailors here, discussed that steaming a suit in a bathroom or otherwise, is the worse thing you can do.

The suit needs to be properly pressed. Would use a tailor for this and not a dry cleaner.

My suit jacket and trousers had slight puckerings as well when I decided to just take it back to the tailor which they did pressed for me.

The indiscriminate use of steam is one of the most misused and abused tools in the garment care toolbox.

Want to make your tailor cry? Just tell him that you just bought a Jiffy Steamer and your'e busy testing it out on that bespoke suit you just received.

I can't take it back to the original tailor as I had it made overseas. I'll have to find a tailor that can press it for me. Thanks!
