Hi guys, I've been lurking for a month or so since I've been thinking about purchasing my first suit soon. I've been reading as many related threads as I could find and I went out today and tried a fair few on. Except I quickly realised I still don't know as much as I'd like to. If anybody would mind pointing out the good and the bad points of some of the suits I'd be pleased. I'm leaning toward the 3rd one at the moment.

A few of the pictures are bit dodgy, and I know, no cuff! I wasn't actually planning on going shopping and just had a short sleeve shirt on. Hopefully you knowledgable chaps can give me some tips, thank you

I like the 3rd one too.

When you finally decide to buy, make sure you wear a nice dress shirt and shoes to make sure everything is OK.

The main thing I noticed is that you look better in the 2 button suits compared to the 1 button and 3 button (out of the ones pictured). Also, I think you look better in suits with a thicker lapels compared to the ones with the thin lapels (like the first suit).

If you go for a 2B suit, I think it is important to make sure the button stance is not too high or too low for your body shape.

On the third suit, the button stance is rather low. The subtle vertical pattern is good for you. Also, on anything other than a very dark suit, you would do better with besom pockets instead of flap pockets.
