Suit Label Run-Down

Hello,

Does anyone know of a good run-down of the characteristics of various suit labels? Like a long list of entries like:

Ozwald Boateng ($2000-$5000). Known for bold colors. Cuts tend to be _____. Big discrepenacy between line ___ and line ____. Also, ____.

(I'd fill in the blanks if I could - sorry, a newbit present)

If this list doesn't already exist, it would be great if we could create one - any takers for a one-paragraph run-down of Oxxford, J Press, Corneliani, Kiton, etc?

I would love to, but I'm a novice looking for a novice's reference. I'll take your reply to mean that no such list exists, and that no one is interested in contributing one paragraph on a label they know reasonably well.

Alas.

As I've been told with more modest proposals: the problem is coalescing even a majority opinion on these things. That being said, if you use the archives to draft such a "run-down", I guarantee you will find the process educational. Then post it here and I guarantee you will find the process entertaining.

Majority opinion is much more of an issue when discussing quality, rather than silhouette.

Manton's post on the first page of this thread is an excellent starter:
