Hi all,

Got this Canali wool suit at a great price and am planning to get it tailored but want to make sure it's the right fit in ways that a tailor can't fix. Pants are fine.

Looking for a relatively classic but smart (i.e. not boxy and conservative but not #menswear slim either).

Please forgive the untucked shirt.

I plan to bring in the waist a bit but what's irking me is the way that the sleeve pitch and shoulder divot inconsistently rear their heads. Pitch looks fine on one arm, can look off on the other. Same with the shoulder divot. I've looked into both and I don't *think* there's an issue with the armhole shape but it's also hard to know since I"m not an expert.

Nevertheless, would be happy to get any feedback. Thanks!

Your right shoulder has more drop than the left. That is not uncommon. Notice how you have shirt cuff showing on the left and none on the right. A good tailor should be able to clean it up. One way of doing it is adding some padding on the right to lift it up. Try it yourself to see if it works. Fold a washcloth over and put it under the shoulder. Fold it over until you get it thick enough to provide some lift.

Will give this a try! Thanks.
