I don't know brooklyn. I think it is far too formal for an island wedding. What will your partner-to-be wear? A formal wedding gown? I'd take the opportunity to wear something more colorful and, well, less stilted. Congrats, btw.

Do you mean a traditional wedding gown? With the train, etc.? If that's the case I'll temper my "too formal" comments a bit. I still think an island wedding provides an opportunity to have a little sartorial fun.

Classic Italian wedding attire; dark charcoal grey suit, white shirt, silver tie.

Black is for funerals.

Thanks for the pic. I was thinking about a linen suit but i worry about wrinkling. I think i have ruled out the suit from STP.

so i have tried on some different summer suits. most of them are much like the color of the linen one from BB and some colors that could be described as sand. Maybe because of my skin tone(asian) it does not seem to look right on me??

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
