Suit for a guy with big legs

I wear a suit to work everyday and I need to start replacing my rotation, my issue is large legs. My legs are 23 inches at the widest point but my waist is relatively small and fits easily into a 32 pant. My suit size is a 38 but I am struggling to find a slim fitting suit with some additional room in the thigh.

I currently have two Boss suits in the James Sharp Cut, one Boss suit in the Grand Central cut and a Burberry suit in the Bond Street cut. I've had all these tailored but my issue is I cannot have the thigh let out. I'd rather have a few suits from different companies rather than a rotation of Boss suits.

If anyone has advice on a modern cut suit with extra room in the thigh for in the $750 range it would be appreciated. I don't mind having the suit tailored but what I am trying to avoid is purchasing a more "classic" fitting suit only to have the entire jacket altered to slim it down. Thanks for your help!

Suit Supply. They can often sell you a suit jacket as a separate and then custom make you the pants with the exact same fabric. I've had that done with one of my navy birdseye suits and it came out perfectly. You'll be under you $750 price point.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
