Hi all,

I've ordered a new suit as I'm getting married in a few months. I never think I look good in suits, perhaps due to my proportions (6'4 tall, 6'7 wingspan). I'm a bit clueless, so would anybody be able to comment on the fit please? The jacket looks too tight done but I'm going to keep it undone anyway as it's a 3 piece. I tried on the next size up and whilst it didn't look tight on the chest, it looked too big everywhere else.

The jacket is tailored fit, not sure which fit would be best for me though

The trousers seemed to fit perfectly so I haven't included those in the photos.

I'm aware that the waistcoat is too short for me. I'll have to get one from elsewhere as they only do regular length.

Many thanks

I not an expert on suit fit but the jacket looks just a tad big, it looks like there's a hump in the shoulders created by your shoulder bone, which means the pads extend too far. Rule of thumb is the lean test-- stand parallel to a wall and lean your shoulder into it. Your deltoid should touch the wall first or both roughly the same time. If the jacket touches first, you need a smaller size.

Personally I think the trousers are a little too slim. On a classic fit you shouldn't be able to see the curvature of your legs and should be able to pull the trousers up over your calves easily without any strain on the fabric. However, slim trousers are a stylistic preference and if that's what you're going for, then it's fine.

From what we can see of them... you've got some interesting wrinkling in the trousers. I wonder if having them picked up by braces would help? Is the waist band sitting at your natural waist (at or just below belly button)? Especially if you're going to wear a vest I'd recommend braces.

Guys, don't do selfies if you want a suit fit advice. Ask someone to take photos from 4 angles and keep your hands down in a natural position:
- Front
- Left
- Right
- Back
For trousers, you could do the same angles but without a jacket. Also, try to face the light from every angle. Me and other guys are more than glad to help you with the fit, but there's not much we can do when the photo quality is poor.
