I recently purchased a suit and was hoping the board could give some recommendations on any changes to the fit, as well as the styling changes such as the lapels and button hole placement, etc. This is my first suit, and will be ordering a second in a few days. I want a suit that is traditional while having a somewhat modern styling. I am by no means a suit expert so any recommendations would be extremely helpful. The lighting isn't the greatest so I might take pictures tomorrow when it's a little brighter. Thanks!

Overall not bad. I don’t see any cuff showing which may be due to the shirt but you may want to have an alterations tailor play with the cuff length a little.

from the back, something funky is going on with the right shoulder. Maybe too much padding in the shoulder? That might explain why it looks as though it’s pulling.

Thanks Phileas. Regarding my the cuff, the shirt was bunched up and wrinkled. When it's freshly ironed there is generally a sliver of cuff. The back is a little funky. I think it's partly due to the fact I was trying to stand up straight, and my right shoulder generally droops forward so the tailor said he adjusted for that.

He should be able to fix it so it sits straight. It’s common for the shoulder on your dominant side to be a bit depressed. The suit should be able to accommodate that.

Otherwise I think it looks good. Your slacks have a slight break which is the way I like it too.

I guess this opens up a whole new can of worms and a different topic altogether but I'm wondering how closely a great MTM company can mirror my results with this suit, which was bespoke and several thousand dollars. If I can get 90% of the fit for 35% of the cost thats not a bad trade-off ?
