Hi folks,

It was just to check on any opinions on this suit fit for a new suit purchased via Suit Supply. It’s 38r Lazio for, great suit although I wondered if this was the right jacket length or would benefit from being shortened 1/2 inch?

I don’t know if it would perhaps also benefit from being taken in a bit at the back/sides either which would create a slightly better fit?

Any comments would be appreciated.

Sorry for the slightly poor quality photos!

Thanks

It’s hard to see from the photos and it would be better if there were front back and side views with the jacket buttoned. However, it’s certainly easy to see that the jacket does not need to be any shorter. Many suit supply models/mannequins will be shown with shorter jacket length, but yours is just about on the short side of classically correct (a number of people on SF will tell you it is too short, but they would not be comfortable with the Suit Supply look in general.)

I would be surprised if the jacket needed to be slimmer. How does it feel when buttoned?

Trousers are very/too slim but that’s what one gets at Suit Supply.

Thanks for the swift reply and I appreciate the feedback.

The jacket feels a good fit when buttoned (I should have taken a photo with it buttoned now that I think of it!). Just the length really which is slightly longer than I’m used to which poses the question that my normal suits are too short!

I’ve very slim legs so usually get trousers tapered to accommodate.

Looks fine.
Longer jacket a plus.
