Suit cut critique

Hoping to get some general opinions on this. I just received a new suit at work, looking to see if the fit looks okay to everyone here or to get a general critique (the uniform person made his measurements when I ordered the new items).

Sad I can't wear a pocket square.

the chest, shoulders and sleeves are a bit oversized, but overall the fit looks fine to me.

I don't know why, but it makes you look really short.

It's a uniform and looks awful accordingly.

Since it is a uniform, there will not be a lot of room for changes.

If you are free to choose your shirt, you should try a spread collard. IMO this would compliment your face. Additionally to the mentioned above, you could try slimming the bottom part of your pants (maybe 22cm at the bottom.)

Buttoning 2 of the 3 buttons is fine. You can also chose to button only the middle one, but I guess you have been instructed on how to wear it.

The shoes are good.

I think so too. Although the length of jacket and pants are fine individually, in this combination, the first is a tad long and the second a tad short. This makes you look a bit shorter.

I don't think the jacket could be shorter without being too short.

The OP would certainly look better in a suit with an overall slimmer fitted silhouette, but this is a uniform. The wider shoulders, lower gorge, somewhat unusually shaped peak lapels, type of buttons, closed quarters, type of pockets, etc. are all what makes this "suit" the standard design uniform the company the OP works for specifies. Unless the company allows for individual tailoring, it fits fine.

If he was ever doing the game while Roger Clemens was pitching I'd turn it off immediately. There is only so much of that I can tolerate. We need to find a forum version of Joe Buck to pair him up with.

Thanks to all for the assistance. I think I will have the trousers cut again.

In response to the buttons it is a 3-button, with only two of them buttoned. I don't button the bottom one - although it is impossible to see the buttonhole in this picture.

It looks a bit full in the torso and sleeves, but I'd like to see it when you're standing in a more natural position.
