I'm looking for a decent new suit but there's not a lot of options locally. I also don't want to spend too much. Does anyone have any opinions on Daniel Hechter, S. Cohen, Ralph Lauren, Murano, or Hardwick? The prices on these were around $500~$600. Are they a decent value at that price? For that price am I better off driving a distance (or ordering online) to get a Signature Gold suit from Jos A Banks? Your input is appreciated.

The Ralph Lauren you're looking at in that price range is not the real Ralph Lauren.

In any case, all of those are bad options, but you're in luck. Threads like these come up a lot. If you take the time to learn the brands, learn your measurements, you can get a pretty damn nice suit for that price range.

S. Cohen makes a pretty quality suit in their entry range.
It's fused, yes, but so are most at that price.

They're not world beaters and the cuts are conservative... but they do hold up.
