Hey guys, my first post, so dont rip me apart if it sounds silly

Im going to visit an Italian company Ive worked for and am comfortable with, but have not visited the HQ before in Florence. They are an industrial company, so I assume they are less mindful of fashion than their friends in Milan.

Anyhow, Im American, if you couldnt infer by now.

Id like to hear your suggestions for what you think is nice dress and casual clothing, made in the USA. I have Italian made, etc. clothes laying around, but have joked with them that when I come by, Ill sport the American stuff only!!

Thanks

slim pickings if you mean RTW.. For shoes, Alden; for shirts, Brooks Brothers Black Fleece; for suits, Golden Fleece and some 1818.. As I said, not much unless you choose bespoke..

Summary of the above posts, plus one or two additions:

Suits - Oxxford, HSM, Hickey Freeman, Southwick (still does Flusser's MTM, I believe), Brooks Golden Fleece / 1818 (at least some), some Ben Silver (I believe), Greenfield, plenty of custom tailors

Shirts - any of the 2 or 3 Gambert factories in NJ (someone better placed than I can list them - one of them does Oxxford's shirts, for instance), Hamilton, Brooks Brothers, Ike Behar, some Talbott, some Ben Silver, some of the shirts from JL Powell, plenty of custom shirt makers

Odd Jackets / pants - see suits above, JL Powell, Ben Silver

Shoes - Allen Edmonds and Alden, some made in USA Cole Haan (just a couple of models from their "Collection" line, Johnston and Murphy Crown Aristocraft

Other stuff - Filson, lots and lots of premium denim, some RLP
