Suggestions for a sports jacket to go with gray flannels

I'm 40ish, ruddy faced Irish type, light brown hair going silverish, stocky build but with some muscle, some flab around the waist, but nothing horrific. Waist 37.5, height 5'8".

Looking to buy a sports jacket I can wear with gray flannels (because that's what I have a number of), if it's versatile for other types that would be a bonus. Suggestions appreciated, and yes, I don't know much about men's style. General shoe suggestions for whatever the jacket you're suggesting appreciated as well.

Honestly, almost every sportcoat should go with gray flannels.

In fact if it doesn't, don't get it.

Pretty much what everybody else said. I suppose the one exception would be a grey sports coat that is too close in shade and borders on looking like a mismatched suit...
