Hi guys, I'm going to buy a Sport Jacket for very hot tropic weather (about over 29-30 C out side)

So I did research and found out that Linen blend and tropical wool like Fresco is better. Since Pure Linen is not drape well and will wrinkle very badly.

The problem it Fresco is not available in OTR jacket so I need to buy Linen Blend instead. So what is the IDEAL PROPORTION of Linen in a Blend (Such as Wool/Silk/Linen) so that it is breath enough in tropical weather ?

1/ 70% Linen - 30% others (will it drape and wrinkle resistant enough?)
2/ 50% Linen - 50% others (Silk/wool)
3/ 25% Linen -75% of others

Are those proportion differently like night and day in feeling and cool? Thank you very much !

Whether the jacket feels more or less cool and/or breathable in the heat is more about the openness of the fabric weave, weight of fabric, and construction than about the specific fiber composition.

As mentioned above, it’s the weave and weight of the fabric that makes it breathable. Any fabric, loosely weave will breath. One runs into an issue of functionality. I have had Baird & McNutt linen slacks that were thick and heavy and wore well in the winter.

I thinks it’s safe to say just above any fabric in those climates will wrinkle. Just embrace it. If you’re really concerned, a 70/30 linen/tropical wool blend may give you some wrinkle resistance.

Make sure the jacket is unlined as that will provide unneeded insulation and warmth.

Thank for your reply

but the Lighter the fabric weight, the more wrinkle and filmsy drape isn't it? I guess for the cooling we have to pay something off !

Dude, you’re going to be in the tropics and it will be 85 degrees. Wrinkling will happen. No one will notice.

Linen wrinkles easily, yes, but a bit of steam and the wrinkles fall right out.
As said above, just accept wrinkles.
