Hello, I recently found this forum and was hoping that the experts here would be able to help.

I have had a SCVS013 for almost a year now. I've never really liked the black band that it came with and am currently looking for a new one (absolutely love the watch otherwise). Here are what I'm thinking:

1. under $50
2. black
3. either alligator or leather with studded white thread.
4. 20mm?

Any suggestions what you may think may work well? Please post link / pictures. I'm also wondering what links I could buy from, ebay and whatelse?

Thank you all in advance!

Thanks Twotone, that's a lot of choices. After I have the strap, is it fairly easy to switch or should I take it to a watch shop?

Fairly easy if you have the right tool. It is do able otherwise. I think I used the end of a mechanical pencil once.

I was able to figure out how to change the strap on a new Seiko a couple weeks ago using the PMWF instructions and a Bergeon tool. I bought just the tool (no extra tips) from this site - http://mywatchmaker.net/watchmakertools.htm I decided to buy the tool instead of going to a jeweler because I figured I may want to buy other straps in the future and swap them around.

I'm usually not too good when it comes to working with small parts, but this wasn't too bad.
