Hi all,

I am going out for an evening meal at this restaurant with family and friends:-

https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Resta...ws-TING_Restaurant_Lounge-London_England.html

Unfortunately, I cannot locate many photos of what other Male diners seem to wear.

I would appreicate thoughts on what I should wear please. I am thinking either:-

1. Mens blue two button suit breasted suit with light blue or white shirt, pocket square and chesnut shoes.

or

2. Mens Huntsman jacket https://www.huntsmansavilerow.com/product/grey-herringbone-jacket/?attribute_pa_size=38

with light blue or white shirt and blue / black / green jeans and grey shoes.

Many thanks

From right off of their website:

Either of the outfits you listed seem to work. If you are in London, call the restaurant and ask if jeans(w/sportcoat) are appropriate for dinner.

Thanks for your response, I was looking on trip advisor.

I have just spoken to the restaurant and they state the dress code is smart casual. The other diners seem to be wearing a Sports Jacket and Jeans so i think that option 2 is probably better as it seems to align with the policy more and that of the other diners

thanks, just out of interest, and I know you cannot see the whole combination but considering I am wearing that Huntsman Sporting Jacket in the link above are your thoughts a white or very light blue shirt and black, dark blue or grey jeans?

All of these can work, if combined in the right way:

Dark blue jeans can be worn with white or pale blue shirt. This case wear the white shirt if its a business dinner, light blue if its friends and family.
With grey or black jeans wear a white shirt.
For business dinner in general I would wear the dark blue jeans.
