So I'm in need of a winter jacket, highest I can go at the moment is 180, I'm looking for something in black. Also please no peacoats.

if you want something really cheap, check out h&m. you can probably score one for around $100 or so. haven't checked out the coats this year but last year they had a bunch of different models.

uniqlo or h & m. go really high or really low. aside from classics like pea coats (which you don't want), mid-priced is always a let-down.

I'm almost embarrassed to say it, but I think Spiewak probably has the best price / quality ratio out there for winter jackets, and will last 10x as long as h&m. ......... (I know, I know) has a good selection: http://www...........com/vendor.aspx...N&size=&subid= And with the kl 20% off rep codes all over the internet, most should fall in your price range.

^ Yeah, I agree. I just had a bad impression of them from 4 or 5 years ago when they were basically only known for that ugly 'snorkel' parka. Last season or two, though, I've been pretty impressed with their new designs...feel like people would be jumping on it - at 3x the price - if they were from NdG or Supreme.

They have fairly decent looking pea coats, too.

i wish they would post model measurements...it really doesn't help to know what size they are wearing without any context.
