Does anyone have a good feel for how the Sugar Cane 1945s (Lee 101B replicas) fit and are cut, especially in comparison to the Sugar Cane 1947s (Levis 501 replicas)?

I would also be interested in an answer to this question. I'm looking at the Buzz Rickson 1942 Cowboy (replica of 1942 101-B) jeans on History Preservation and would like to know what the fit is like before I get them.

And now that the board has a Japanese connection, maybe some descriptions of how fit and sizing differ from Sugar Cane versus other Japanese 501/101B replica brands.

one is a Lee replica, and the other is a Levis replica maybe?

501 1947 is slimmer than the 101B. For a slim fit Lee, look for the 101Z (zip fly). !luc
