I saw this thread over at SuperFuture and thought it was a fun idea. This is not to boast (as you'll soon see) or to show off. What I really like about it, is after posting your own price sheet and reading others, you start feeling a little bit nauseous thinking about how much you've spent!

I'll start it off (estimates):

Trovata x Vans - $100
Threadless Tee - $15
Levi's 501's - $35
Trovata Hoodie - $100
Banana Republic Belt - $60
Speedbird II Watch - $250

Total - $560

ugh. i had to delete my replies to the SuFu version (nice portmanteau!), hoping it would make it less real.

i will try again, though this will probably be deleted:

ra*re western shirt: $180
AA archer prewitt tee: free
sc40400n: $345
blunnies: $175
barbour beaufort: $375?
$1075 for a rainy-day, bum-around outfit
::weep::

I feel a lot of people cheat on this (gift, free, whatever), but then again, I'm wearing a few gifts today...

Vasque Sundowner boots (retail $150, gift)
gap socks/boxers ($10 total)
Belt ($20)
RRDG ($120)
The Cast tshirt ($39)
BR military shirt (circa 1999, gift, retail $30?)
J Crew waxed walking coat ($100)
Skagen watch (retail $150, gift)

$619-gifts=$289

This is a good math exercise. I didn't even use a calculator--so I'm probably wrong.

SuFu, that's funny. My roommate got a letter from Washington Mutual telling him that it is WaMu now, he was debating on removing his money because of his loss of respect for them. Okay for styleforums, dumb for banks.

What wash on those 514s? I have the black, and it's fine, but I'm leery of Levis cheap washes. Still, I'd actually like to get another pair for once these wear out (assuming I ever wear them... all them dry jeans lying around demand so much attention).
