Where do I start ? How 'bout cords, flannels or tweeds ? BTW I saw those SM for Borrelli $549 wingtips during the last major haul @ FB, and they were smoking. Meantime I dropped a head-spinning $189 on these new puppies

I love them with jeans or a pair of olive Brioni flannel slacks I have.

Where TF did you get new Gherardos for $189??? I just happily paid $300 for mine but would love to know where you got that deal.

OK, but this is a copyrighted material we're talking

Suppose you go to a store and come across something that's totally rocking. Yet the asking price sucks dead moose

Try chatting up a few floor people to gauge the general vibe.
Pick the one you think would be cool enough to deal with.
As you're bowing out, ask for their BC ( business card ) and hand them yours.
(But before you do, fold a twenty ( $3 @ Kenneth Cole outlets

) and place it discreetly underneath your BC as you don't need to advertise that to the rest of planet earth .)
Ask if they could give you heads-up if and when mark-downs start to kick in.
Go on your merry way.
Should you be looking for more than a one time deal, on your return try paying with cash and leaving them a little somepin'. 'Cause these guys don't earn squat on small sales.

P.S. Hey, if I was able to get my hands on $630 shoes @ 70% discount - you can bet your Giorgio Brutini slippers I got my $20s worth

The question is what dont suede brogues or wingtips work with? From an off-white to darkest brown (and now black for some purposes), suede will go with just about anything.

seersucker, linen, cotton poplin, silk, mohair, all types of wool suit cloth from 16 oz worsted to flannel, to medium and summer weight worsteds, tweed, sport coats, suits, odd trousers with a shirt or a sweater. Black suede for black tie and for some hip outfits.

The styling should change with regards to shade, sole, shoe style but I can barely think of a limitation for a suede shoe.
