I'm hunting for a suede tassel loafer to wear with jeans, chinos, and smarter shorts outfits. I've tried on both the Carmina and Alden offerings in snuff suede. The fit was slightly better in the Carmina. I am struggling to decide which ones to get. The Carmina are on the Uetam last and the Alden are on the Aberdeen last. The Uetam looks a little dressier to me due to the extra length in the toe area.

Here are the questions I'd love some help with:
    • Are build quality/material quality comparable between Carmina and Alden, or does one edge out the other?
    • Does one look more versatile (can be worn equally well with jeans, chinos, etc) based on the pictures?
Appreciate any advice, thoughts, recommendations, etc!

I'm actually debating the exact same thing. Anyone got any opinions on this? It would be much appreciated!
