    Define 'janky'.

"Poorly constructed or of inferior quality"?

He probably meant "tacky; in poor taste" and not the above. I don't know whether he say my descriptions of the shoes (ie maker/model).

I thought a gentleman was supposed to keep quiet in case he did not have anything nice/ constructive to say. The OP never asked for any criticism and to offer crappy remarks is in poor taste. Especially from a person who started a thread purely to criticize a seller for poor taste.

That thread is a trainwreck already. I don't understand these kinds of threads and the recent "polls" at all. However, discussing that is not the point of this thread ... criticism is inevitable when you post photos or start threads here. I take it for what it is.

Being in Oregon where it rains about 7 months of the year, I have been a bit reluctant to pull the trigger on suede shoes. Is this fear irrational?

Yes. I have a pair of dk brown suede Façonnable (AE made) split toe bluchers w/ Vibram Gumlite soles that I wear almost exclusively on rainy days. They were treated with silicone suede spray and have held up very well.

The shade might not be to everybodies taste, but I really need a pair of these. (If any one's selling or knows where to get a pair, PM me...)
