Yesterday arrived a pair of suede boots from Meermin.

Model: NST Boot
Sole: Commando / Ithside
Last: HOK
Welt: 360

The boot is very well made, I believe that the version in suede I got is unavailable. It seams that will take some patience to break in.

These were my suede shoes/boots 4 yrs ago:

Alfred Sargent, RM Williams, Rancourt, Alden x2.
But I've since given away three and bought a few more:

So now it's LP Open Walks, Sargent for BB desert boots, Vass F last chukkas, Riderboot wholecut slip ons,
EG Islingtons (originally in snuff, but I've dyed them with a mix of Angelus light gray, brown, and light blue), Alden x2 and B&L Sagans.

How many years of service you should expect from a pair of suede shoes compared to full-grain leather shoes? In my understanding, suede still is considered to be cheaper and lower grade leather but usually priced similarly compared to other leather grades. The looks are definitely there but the durability has kept me away from suede game so far.

It's just the reverse side. A full grain suede should be just durable, plus less likely to get scuffed
