I notice that a few of the Loake models that normally come in polished leather, and are priced accordingly (i.e. the 758, shown here, is below £108.2 exVAT at Herring or pediwear) are also offered in suede.
Given that I assume there's no polished suede, are these a value? I recognize there must be qualities of suede, but is 'low end' suede better then low end leather, or is there some suede version of heavily corrected leather to watch out for?
