Today i came across my frist sample of what I would call crocodile suede. It was used on a belt and was some of the nicest leather I have ever seen (not surprising then that the belt was one of the nicest I have ever seen).
Now, who here has seen or even better used this type of leather? Also, does anyon have a picture of a pair of shoes made of this stuff?
Looking forward to your replies.

Lobb Paris has used it in both RTW and bespoke. ABP offers it as well.

Yah, the RTW ones look like ass, particularly on the hideous Lopez loafer. The bespoke sample I saw in this leather looked wonderful and the alligator nubuck looked nicer.

This is commonly used for cowboy boots btw. I think it is a nice leather for casual wear.

Lucchese offers it on their custom boots.
