Suede Boots?

I'm looking for some casual shoes, particularly suede boots to wear with both denim and cotton/linen slacks in the summer. I know CT used to have some, but I kept delaying the purchase and now they're gone. J Crew has some here http://www.jcrew.com/catalog/product...atId=cat160078 but I don't know how they're shoes are, probably not too good, right? So can someone recommend something I can get ahold of easily and not to expensively or should I just bite the bullet and get the J Crew shoes?

I assume you are talking about Suede MacAlister boots from J.Crew. My advice is to not even think about paying retail price for J.Crew shoes. They are crap for that price.

My suggestion is to look around some more. I don't know what color or size you are looking for, but Ct has some that are much better quality for about the same price.

I picked up those J. Crew ones a while back and ended up returning them, but they aren't that bad. I just didn't need them. I wouldn't pay full price though - they go on sale, usually for like 50% off.

The J Crew ones in my size won't ship for a few weeks.

Any reason you don't like the suede chelseas on CT? I don't have experience with them, but they're probably a reasonably good deal with the 50% off.

Does no one here read posts or link links anymore.... I've said it three times that they're sold out and will be a while till they come back (and they probably won't be on sale).
