Suede boot colour suggestion

I am planning to order a pair of suede boots. What colour would you suggest given that they are for casual use. Also, if I had a choice of sole material, what would you suggest? Thanks.

dark brown chocolatey color is the best looking suede, I think. Unless you have too many dark brown/burgundy shoes already. also it hides stains better.

a medium brown is good too.

if you get too light it looks a little fashion forward, maybe thats what you want though.

I wore light red-brown suede boots yesterday, for some shopping in Amsterdam. I could not enter a shoe store for shopping without getting compliments on them from the staff. Strange because I dont regard them as my best shoes, but hey what do I know.
The color I tried to describe works really well with jeans and even with a grey or blue suit. Hard to find a matching suede belt though.

I have recently ordered EG Shannons in coffee suede which is a chocolate brown. I prefer this to the extremely dark suede as it shows more color variations.

CHukka boots? What kind of boots?

What sort of casual use, going out in town, hiking? The more sporty, the more I like a lug sole. Although if youre going to spend a lot I would stick with leather.

I like the darkest suedes with dark suits, medium colors for summer and lighter colored outfits.

Medium to light brown would probably be the most flexible. If your mostly going to wear suits, then dark brown would work best.
