...but those who dawdle climbing the stairs or come to a full stop as soon as they go through the turnstyle b/c they are checking their phones should be sentenced to cleaning the subway platforms (daily) for a month

this.

same with the dildos that use the turnstyles as their tables so they can fish around their bags for their metrocard. This happens WAY too often, get it out before you get to the turnstyle so you're not blocking hoards of people.

I'm told that in Asia (Japan? China?) they have uniformed guys carrying blockingsled-like pads on the platforms whose job it is to push people into the already-packed cars. We should get employ a similar force who are tasked w/ spotting these transgressors. Upon spotting the violator, the guard would roughly grab them by the arm, confiscate any electronic gadget in-use, and march them off for their month of cleaning duty

I've been pushed into crowded subway trains in Tokyo, the dudes don't carry any pads they just shove.

Never had it that bad, but I've been shoved into the train here a few times.

Rode BART home from the Warriors game last night. Drunk guy standing next to us spent the entire ******* trip chastising his soon-to-be brother-in-law for being a "*****" and not standing up to his father. Talked a ton of **** about his future father-in-law, too.
