1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

True. I know she lives here in New York somewhere now. I should seek her out and fart uncontrollably to see if she remembers me. This, mind you was 4th grade.

Unfortunately most of those memories are from the New York subway system.

There's something wrong with you people. Not that I mind, really, but I just feel like it should be noted.

this fucking kid on the train this morning was blasting techno music from one of those mini-speakers you connect to your phone. i wondered "why bother, headphones would sound sooo much better" but then i realized he had those stupid golf ball sized ear lobe hoops, so no headphones of any kind would fit in or on his ear.

Very crowded subway ride on the way home. Like Asian crowded. I was next to/crushed up against two very attractive women. Whenever the train slowed down, one of them would place her hand around the other's throat for support. It wasn't not hot.

I see my family all the time. It helps that almost all my immediate family either works, lives, goes to school, or some combination in NYC.
