Okay, so maybe an exception for comedic irony.

People who drop glass bottles on the ground of the DC metro. Then pretend not to notice when the bottle rolls and slams into the metal divider every time the train shifts.

One day this big black guy with no shirt and giant muscles jumped over the turnstile and then threw his snapple bottle onto the tracks and smashed it. He the strutted with a mean look on his face to the other end of the platform. Utter disregard for people and where you live like this makes me furious. I was livid, but of course, I didn't say anything to him...

I think it's reasonable to assume that a man willing to walk through NYC shirtless is mentally unstable. Good call, pB.

Just had an incredibly frustrating experience. The train was late (as usual whenever there is the slightest bit of moisture in the air) and it arrived and was pretty packed. I saw a car that had plenty of room for a few people in the center, but as usual all of these assholes are crowding right by the door. I walk up and usually people move out of the way or even make an attempt to to let people get to the middle. And this fat Latino guy with a gold grill in his teeth and dressed like a rapper was yelling at me that the train is full. I pointed to all of the room and said what about all of that room. Meanwhile the car full of Latinos are just staring at me blankly, still not even making room, when there clearly was room. He is still yelling at me that the train was full and I won't fit so I told him to go fuck himself before the doors shut. I was livid.

pB, you need to be careful here - often those pockets of unpopulated trainspace are empty for a reason. just as cars w/ broken A/C will be less crowded, an full/half/quarter empty car often is the result of either a godawfulstenchemitting homeless guy or a giant puddle of puke/p!ss/s#it. it's funny how people will put up w/ a raving lunatic (as long as they are not actually swinging a knife around), but it is the truly brave person who can endure an all out olfactory assault

Not the case. The reason is they are scumbags.

Did you try putting a bespoke shoulder forward and pressing past? I know it's upping the ante, but sometimes the thugfront is just a facade that will yield to a determined commuter...
