1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Because at the end of the day, you're still living in New York City. I wouldn't have it any other way.

This is good - reminds me of the Seinfled episode where Jerry nods off and wakes up across from the naked guy on the subway - I think they ended up talking about the Mets...

What's up with people complaining about their jobs/supervisors for a half hour then finishing up with, "that's why I'm looking to move to x company, they pay mad money, like $10 hr."

I'm talking grown folks. Yesterday one dude had a convo with a dude sitting next to him, had to be in his 40s, talking mad loud and disclosing all kinds of stuff you shouldn't speak about publicly. Makes me wonder about people.

Who else is afraid of trying to grab a pic of something they see on teh train for fear of jail time?

Ah, yes. I think that falls into the category of folks who loudtalk about personal business. Discretion is in short supply.

I tend to be too loud in public settings, while my wife tends to lower her voice below my hearing threshold. Makes for fun conversations on the train.
