1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Fok on behalf of the entire Styleforum team

Michigan planner takes it for $350, and In Stitches comes in to push us over $10K. Thanks guys.

Michigan Planner, please stay tuned. You'll receive a PM tomorrow morning with instructions about payment and then I'll put you in contact with Crane's.

My pleasure. I'm happy to be able to help a worthy cause and get some kick-ass boots (designed by a Michigan-based company no less) in the process!

Awesome! Thanks to all for your generosity. Michigan Planner, Dave has the store open til 2PM CT today. Cold Iron, I've been known to work in sales before. LOL! Matter of fact I had the dubious honor of being named number one a time or two.

Our twelfth auction for the Ronald McDonald House, on Boxing Day, is for an omnibus of gifts from a variety of friends of the forum. In this package is included:

    1) One (1) pair of Epaulet pants of your choice, retail of up to $235.

    2) One (1) tie from the soon to be launched tie line, Yellow Hook Neckties, from our own NewYorkIslander. Here is a picture of some of his six folds, which will retail for $129. No site is up yet, but you should follow the news here: https://www.facebook.com/YellowHookNecktieCo

    3) Putthison (putthison.com) Gentlemen’s association pocket squares. I think that some of these are priceless. Several may even be timeless.

    4) From the leathermaker zissou, and full leather set, including a belt, and card case, a key chain, an eyeglassses case, a bracelet, and a little surprise of something never before made (by Zissou, I make no claims that no one else has ever made it, with a total retail of $225
It's easiest to see everything on zissou’s Etsy Shop, Summit Creek Dry Goods:

    5) Any one pair of Paulrose Products jeans from www.tateandYoko.com. These jeans are all made in Canada of Japanese fabrics, and come in two fits, a straight leg, midrise, 1947 Levis 501 fit, and a lower rise, slimmer fit. The traditional model is are available in heavyweight 17 ounce and the slimmer model in a more traditional 14 ounce fabric. All jeans run $230 retail value.

Bidding starts at $250 on a retail of $919. That’s a full 73% off retail, better than nearly any of the deals out there, and honestly, you get pretty much a full outfit, minus the shirt and boots. Maybe you literally had to sell the shoes off your feet and the shirt off your back in order to get what you needed for Christmas. Or maybe you are are a male stripper going as some sort of dandy lumberjack. Truthfully, I have no good narrative for this except that these donation are all from good members of the community, and this package probably makes more sense than what your grandmother sent you, unless it was cash.

Bidding starts are $250, which is $50 per set of items on that list. Crazy. Let’s get the bidding started. Please post your bids here, in increments of $10 or more, or PM me to place an anonymous bid for you. This auction will end tomorrow morning at 12 p.m. EST, 9 a.m. PST.

    Good luck to all.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

You guys rock so hard. Let's see if we can't bid this up to $500 by the time I get back from the gym (about 2 hours).
