    btw, if you beat $1200, you will have the slight satisfaction of knowing that you own, no matter how you cut it, shoes more expensive than my most expensive pair of old school, Lattanzi boots. Of course, those were 2003 dollars, so you may have to go a little bit higher to account for inflation. Just sayin'.
