I forgot the commentary so here goes:

I think what makes this particular bike stylish is the old-school elegance of the vintage attributes such as the Campagnolo high-flange track hubs, the Selle leather saddle and the elkhide bar wrap and toe clip protectors. Nowadays you'll find frames made of aluminum or carbon fiber which can be as strong as they are light but they lack that bespoke feel of a handcrafted steel frame. You would order your frame in your choice of steel, select a lugset (the parts that connect all of the tubing, in this case Cinelli), dropouts (the parts where the wheels bolt on, in this case Campagnolo) angles, etc. Your frame would be hand brazed, painted and then you'd build it with the desired group set. On this particular bike the wheelset consists of bladed spokes which have been tied and soldered (something you absolutely will not see today on a new bike) connecting the hubs to the Mavic Mach2 CD tubular rims. Tires are Continental Gyro training tires. As pictured the bike weighs ~15lbs and measures 58cm ctc.

The molteni orange pearl paint was inspired by this guy since he was behind the development of Reynolds 653 tubing:

I have a reissue Casino in natural, sort of Lennon-esque, and then a 1968 Mustang that an SF member sent me - I'm looking for a worthy shop here in Japan to get it refinished in the original Daphne blue, and get it refretted, playing again. I'll post pics once that's done and I set up my little display downstairs.

Looks nice but I find these totally uncomfortable. I'm gonna get me one of these ladybikes, so if I'd make a fall with my legs betweenthe frame, my nuts wont break..

Nothing wrong with the 107. Pagodas? If you look carefully enough, they're where you find them!

I will contribute to this collage of consumerism:

My current table project, it's in the process so judge accordingly.
