I bought some new glasses. I ended up going with a pair of D&G black boxy thick frames. I love them, there great. I didn't try to buy D&G, I just like the style of the frames and none of the other eye frame makers made a pair I really like. I've gotten nothing but compliments from everone. I really like them, ended up being around $175 total, due to my eye insurance paying for the majority of the len's and frames. Just go with what you like.

But I second(third?) the sentiment about finding frames that fit your face, and this is easily done by visiting a true professional. -j

A friend of mine has many, many different glasses. When someone gave him grief about showing up with different frames every day, his response was quite simple:

He said, "So, how many pairs of shoes do you own? ...What do you think people look at first: you feet or your face?"

Now I thought that a VERY interesting point of view.

I also strongly recommend the advice given above (by jonglover and JET) about getting good advice about matching frames to your face (and styles).

I have those exact same frames except in silver and gray. They're great, and I think they work really with my features. Your own mileage may vary though.

Seriously considering these. Is the logo at the side very obvious? I want to be able to wear these at work.

Not at all;they're nothing like the D&G diffusion brand glasses. I doubt most people would even realize you're wearing Dolce & Gabbana.

I'd rather not flaunt that I'm wearing designer brands like some sort of guido.
