Where to get a pretty stylish haircut that's not outrageous in NYC? My job requires me to have short hair, nothing that would be considered a fad. I have no idea what I want, so, I need to go to someone who would recommend me a style...

help...

Frederic Fekkai Salon on E.57th, 4th floor of the Henri Bendel building. Patrique Bassett does an excellent job.

I go to Ultra, at 123 Essex St. (between Rivington and Delancey); tel. 212) 677-4380.

They can do stylish and their clients are working professionals in many industries.

Paul Mole is one of the best barber shops in the city, and its been around forever. Real professionals. A standard haircut is $33.00.
