What you'll need depends on your lifestyle. Some guys need only one or two suits, for funerals and job interviews and the like. Others need a closetful. Other factors are important, too: Age, location, personal style, etc. (Just look at the differences in the discussions in this forum and over in streetwear/denim). If you'll tell us more about yourself, we can offer more advice.

At a minimum, I'd say every guy needs to own:

A solid suit in charcoal or navy
Black captoe laceup shoes, for wear with suit
A white buttonup shirt, with button cuffs, for wear with suit. (Personally, I'd want at least two white and one blue, but we're talking barebones minimums here.)
Black belt
Navy socks
A couple of ties
Brown shoes for less dressy times -- best to own at least two pairs, to let each rest on alternating days. Some guys skip these and go with sneakers.
Brown belt
Several pairs of trousers -- wool, khakis, denim
At least 10 shirts, to allow for laundering
Sportcoat or blazer
Decent umbrella

Beyond that, specifics will depend on the guy. My essentials include cords, tattersalls and the like, but many here live happily without them, though I'm not sure how.

Doc's is a good list. I would add a decent raincoat, but that maybe is a reflection of where I live. Also dark grey socks should you choose the charcoal suit.

Other things I would add

Comfortable pair of slippers for round-the-house wear
Night wear - I wear pajamas; 2 summer weight and 2 winter weight
Robes - 1 summer weight and 1 winter weight

At least one more dress shirt, in light blue, solid or patterned.
The brown belt and brown shoes, as DocHolliday mentioned.
A pair of boots. (That would go nicely with the motorcycle jacket.)
Pants in more versatile colors, such as tan. At least one in corduroy or moleskin.
If your tops don't include "jumpers" (sweaters), you need a few.

You've got a good start there. You might pick up another white shirt. Always good to have a spare, in case of spills, etc. And a sportcoat and odd trousers would add versatility to your wardrobe, in case you need to dress up for more than one day in a row.

Personally, I'd add some cords to the mix, just because I find them perfect for cool weather. Casual and comfortable, but still very presentable. But I know they're not every guy's style.

As a student, your wardrobe choices are pretty wide open. It's really up to personal style. But if you know what you're going to be doing after graduation, you might start stocking up on appropriate clothing, if the budget allows. Hunting up good deals now will save having to go on a buying spree later, and cut down the cost, too.
